Copy-Jack

Manufactured by Plus Corporation from 1986 to 1987, the Copy-Jack was intended to make photocopies of newspaper and magazine columns on strips of paper. As you slide the business end down the page, photosensors burn a copy of the material onto thermal paper 1.6 inches wide. Because the photosensor relies on red light, it could not reproduce copy printed in red. Batteries are not replaceable, but rechargeable. $349.50 for the device, $2.50 for a roll of paper.
