Colby Cheese Streambox
Colby Cheese was an early streaming device that combined multiple cellular accounts into a single video feed. The man behind this visual pun was Chuck Colby, founding member of the Homebrew Computer Club, holder of thousands of patents in communications, and hailed by Steve Wozniak and Nolan Bushnell as Silicon Valley’s most prolific inventor. His Cellular VideoModem was the first “Video thru Cellular Transmission System”. It could combine multiple cellular channels for the first full-color video streams outside the internet.
