Casio introduced the TV-400 in 1987 and discontinued it in 1989. It featured a 2-inch color LCD, NTSC VHF & UHF tuner, 640x490 video, telescoping antenna, and a rechargeable battery pack. It came with this warning emblazoned on its backside:

• “CAUTION Avoid leaving the unit under direct sunlight, near a heater, or in a closed car in summer ; otherwise deformation, discoloration or malfunctions may result.”
