Casio Z7000 PDA

Introduced by Casio in 1993, the Z-7000 PDA kicked off  the pre-smartphone heyday of the Personal Digital Assistant (PDA). One is already counted in the CHM collection. Tandy sold a version that it called the Tandy Z-PDA. Both were powered by an x86 CPU running a version of GEOS OS. The design is credited to Jeff Hawkins, who went on to hit a home run with the PalmPilot in 1997.

The Casio PDA was discontinued in 1995.
